Celebrity (usartical) Please be understanding with Adele; there’s a valid reason why she was “looking everywhere but in the camera” in that widely shared basketball meme.
The “Hello” singer gave background information on a widely shared video during a recent show in Las Vegas. The video showed her sitting courtside at a basketball game, looking about and seeming uninterested.

Adele said in a social media video that she was approached “twice” by camera operators asking to film her so they could play her on screen, to which she allegedly replied, “Please don’t.” But in Adele’s words, “they came back and they filmed me” anyhow. “The reason I looked like a different person was because I was sulking because I was like ‘These (expletive) have come back and are filming me against my will!”

she stated. “Moreover, I was unaware that it was being televised. I had assumed it was limited to the roomIt’s true, Adele said, that she was “ignoring and looking everywhere but in the camera,” but only because she “was very annoyed because I asked not to be filmed.” Her “lips look like I had filler” in the video, she added, is because of this. “My lips are naturally full,” she continued. I’m not in need of filler. The incident happened at a February 2022 NBA All-Star Game. The video footage produced a response image, which has since been used to humorously suggest that the user is attempting to ignore something.

Adele continued, “My face is just very memeable.” “I can’t help it.” Adele had just provoked criticism when she abruptly canceled her residency performances in Las Vegas in January 2022, citing COVID-19 production delays as one of the reasons she didn’t want to be shot.
Adele admitted to her fans, “I know it sounds crazy, but I really don’t like being famous,” despite the fact that she understood some could think she was “asking for it” by “sitting courtside at a basketball game.” Adele also remembered that she was “there on my own looking for Michael Jordan, to be honest with you,” while her companion Rich Paul was “working the room” and “talking to players” during the game.
Adele’s Las Vegas residency is set to end in June, and she will then go to Munich for a summertime run of concerts.
