(usartical) Spears posted the post with a picture of the aftermath in her Los Angeles house basement with the words, “Reflecting back remembering when I burned the gym down in 2020.” A variety of burned exercise equipment is visible in the photo, covered in layers of ash. The music sensation talked about the three-year-old event on Instagram on Monday.
It was an accident, but I did in fact set it on fire. I saw flames (the fire emojis) as soon as I passed the gym door. That’s when, by God’s grace, the alarm went off, and yippy hoorah, nobody got wounded,” recalled Spears, 42.
“Unfortunately, I only have two pieces of equipment left lol and a one-sided mirror gym!!!!!” she continued. But I’m thankful since things could be lot worse. Well, I like working out outside anyhow.
