The music icon unexpectedly showed up at the 2024 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on February 4. Having recently avoided the spotlight due to her diagnosis of stiff person syndrome, Dion was there to present the night’s top prize, album of the year. “Thank you all, I love you right back,” the singer of “My Heart Will Go On” said, drawing a standing ovation. “When I say, I’m happy to be here, I really mean it from my heart.” 
“Those who have been blessed enough to be here, the Grammy Awards, must never be taken for granted the tremendous love and joy that music brings to our lives and to people all over the world,” Dion said.
Dion went on to explain that it was a privilege to present the award that Sting and Diana Ross had given her 27 years prior.
The performer then gave the prize to Taylor Swift, the victor.
After Dion’s former stylist, Law Roach, hinted that he was coming out of retirement for a single night, rumors regarding his appearance began to circulate.
Dion looked chic in a spring/summer 2024 couture outfit by Valentino, pairing a mustard-colored cloak with a pale pink gown. She accessorized with rings and earrings made of silver and diamonds, as well as a gorgeous statement necklace made of silver.
