Camila Cabello is back, bringing two scorching new songs to crank up the summertime heat. The singer dropped “Havana” featuring Young Thug and “OMG” featuring Quavo on Thursday, August 3. Earlier in the week, the former Fifth Harmony member had teased both songs with nostalgic drive-in movie stills.
With a melancholic, seductive sound, “Havana” tells the story of a failed romance and leaves Cabello yearning, “Half of my heart is Havana.” Young Thug contributes a heartfelt verse. “OMG” sounds like Cabello’s first hip-hop heavy song, slowed down with an ambient bass underneath a silky, rap-like voice from the song “Havana,” which has a Latin flair.
