Celebrity (usartical) Following his wife Brittany Cartwright’s shocking announcement that she was leaving their shared house, James Taylor has spoken out.
“We’re in unison. time Cartwright, 35, was “in a house for a while,” Taylor, 44, said that she was now “back home” in an interview with Page Six on Thursday, February 29.The couple is attempting to “figure out” the next stages in their separation, according to Taylor, who also noted that the new dynamic is still “fresh and new.”
“It’s not nasty or wicked,” he went on. “You are now approaching the 10-year mark in the marriage of just two persons. All we’re doing is taking some time apart to reevaluate our circumstances. We simply want to act in our child’s best interests because we have a youngster involved. 
Taylor’s remarks follow those that Cartwright made in the closing seconds of their Thursday “When Reality Hits” podcast.
I’ve had a lot of questions from you guys regarding Jax and I and our relationship. We have shared so much of our lives with you guys, so I just think it’s essential to be genuine and honest with you guys,” Cartwright said, admitting that she and Taylor had gone through “a really hard year” in their marriage. “I don’t want to come out as dishonest or anything of the sort. Thus, I believe it is crucial that I make this statement. 
She continued, saying, “I decided to go into another home to take some distance for the sake of my mental health and Jax and I are spending some time apart. I won’t go into too much detail just now because it’s still really difficult to discuss.
This month, in response to fans’ inquiries about the state of their relationship, the former Vanderpump Rules stars made reference to the need for “space” in their marriage. (Earlier this month, Taylor visited Montreal, Canada, before heading back to his native Detriot. Cartwright said that social media was how she found out about his travel.)
“I believe that we will need to address a few rumors, if briefly. Since some people do, in fact, deserve their privacy, I won’t be too harsh on them. However, I will say that marriage is difficult and that individuals experience ups and downs frequently, and that’s quite normal,” Cartwright stated in the podcast recording from February 22. “People may or may not need their space at different times.” 
Cartwright said, “I just want to make one thing clear and that is that my life is not a publicity stunt for anything,” adding that “so many changes” had occurred since the cameras were turned off. “Let me be very clear: this is not a place for publicity stunts.”
Taylor and Cartwright wed in June 2019 in a June ceremony that was shown on Vanderpump Rules season 8, and have been together for about five years. Cruz, age two, is the couple’s only child. Taylor was a part of the original cast of VPR, having debuted in the 2013 series premiere. In 2015, Cartwright became a cast member of the fourth season. Both of them left the show in December 2020.
Taylor stated on Instagram at the time, “The last eight years on Vanderpump Rules have been some of the most challenging, rewarding and fulfilling years of my life.” It hurts to say, but Brittany and I will not be coming back for another season of Vanderpump Rules. We can’t wait to share our new projects with you and use this time to concentrate on our expanding family.
