Grammy-winning singer Karol G recently faced an unexpected turn of events during her “Mañana Será Bonito” tour when her private jet made an emergency landing in Los Angeles due to smoke in the cockpit. 
“We appreciate everyone’s concern and messages,” Karol G, whose true name is Carolina Giraldo Navarro, expressed in Spanish. “My team, my family, and I are all doing great and are appreciative of the new chance. God provides for us and gives us life and health every day.”
The private Gulfstream, departing from Burbank airport on Thursday night with Karol G and her entourage on board, encountered the scare midair while passing over the Cajun Pass. The pilot reported a problem, prompting a U-turn, and the aircraft smoothly landed at Los Angeles’ Van Nuys Airport around nine o’clock at night.
Fortunately, all 16 passengers, including Karol G, were unharmed, and no injuries were reported. 
In footage obtained from the site, Karol G was seen giving hugs to fellow passengers on the tarmac while emergency personnel attended to the aircraft. She also exchanged what appeared to be a handshake with the pilot, showcasing her composure during the unexpected situation.
Despite the incident occurring just a day before her scheduled performance in Guatemala City, Karol G assured fans that the show would go on. In a social media post during her roughly 13 hours on the ground before departing for Guatemala, she reassured her followers. 
“Guatemala, We’re out and running! In the name of God, I see you today! I’m heading directly to the show. I promise not to disappoint you, even if you have been in line for days.. I’m eager to see them! Thankful for my family and for you! For everybody!” the post read.
Karol G, known for hits like “Provenza,” had been playing in Guatemala City for two nights as part of her tour, which will now continue with scheduled performances in Costa Rica and several other Latin American countries. Recently honored as the 2024 Billboard Woman of the Year and recipient of her first Grammy for Best Música Urbana Album, Karol G remains resilient and grateful as she faces challenges head-on, embodying a true testament to her strength in the world of music.
