During Sweeney’s opening monologue, she seized the opportunity to dispel various online speculations, addressing alleged misinformation about her work history and countering a viral claim that someone on TikTok was her nutritionist. However, the most prominent rumor tackled was the alleged affair with Powell during the filming of “Anyone But You.”
Sweeney unequivocally refuted the rumor, proclaiming Powell as “the man of my dreams,” emphasizing that they are still together and stronger than ever. She clarified that Powell is not just a co-star but her fiancé, highlighting his continuous presence throughout the entire shoot of the movie they co-produced.
