Recently, my dear sister Karen Houghton passed away unexpectedly at the age of sixty-five”My mom, MJ, and my niece Natalie are on my mind, and I pray that God will lead us all through this trying time.” Karen was stunning on the inside as well. Jenner, 68, described her deceased sibling as the most tender, empathetic, and hilarious person she had ever met.

“Karen’s passing is a reminder that life is so short and precious and tomorrow is never promised,” the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum said in closing.We must express our love and affection to the people we hold dear. My lovely sister, I adore you. 
The cause of Houghton’s passing is yet unknown. However, TMZ reported on Tuesday—citing law enforcement sources—that it seems she passed away due to natural causes.Page Six contacted Jenner’s representative for comment, but received no response right awayIt seems that the mother and her younger sibling were formerly estranged, notwithstanding the mother’s loving remarks.
Houghton said on Facebook in April 2014, “Pray for Kris Jenner, she needs it…crazy,” according to RadarOnlineShe’s a complete nuts. She needs sky vodka, not prayers, hahaha hahaha hahaha.At the time, Houghton also told the newspaper that her older sister ignored her calls.She had before claimed, “If you think your sister would call you back, she doesn’t.” 
And I get hurt by it. You are my sister, regardless of who you are or how much money you have. I’m not terrified of her. I’m no longer able to reach her. I suppose it’s the money, though.
At the time, Houghton also called Jenner “not warm and fuzzy,” stating that “she’s very serious.”It’s unknown if the sisters were able to get along before Houghton passed away. Nonetheless, around Christmas of 2019, they were spotted posing with other family members in a photo uploaded to Instagram Stories.
