(usartical) “A Star Is Born,” and Lady Gaga attended the Los Angeles premiere Bradley Cooper, the director of new Netflix movie “Maestro.”
Lady Gaga left the house to honor her former co-star Bradley Cooper at the Maestro premiere of the writer-director film.
The thirteen-time Grammy winner, 37, posed Tuesday before the filming at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures with Cooper, 48, and his Maestro costar, Carey Mulligan. Cooper’s 6-year-old daughter Lea De Seine also took a picture with the stars. The two worked together on the 2018 film A Star Is Born, which stars Cooper as a hard-drinking musician who meets Gaga’s character, a teenage singer, and falls in love.
Eight nominations for Oscars were received for the movie, including Best Actor for Cooper and Best Actress for Gaga. She won the only Oscar for the movie, for Best Original Song, which she won for “Shallow.” Three Grammys were also given to the song.
The two sang a personal rendition of the song during the 2019 Oscars event, leading some fans to believe the celebrities were actually in a relationship. In November 2021, Cooper told The Hollywood Reporter that they had simply chosen to stay in character to curb his nerves while singing live at the awards show.”Just from a personal standpoint, it reduces the anxiety level,” Cooper stated. “In that scene in the movie, they sort of fall in love. It’s the explosive moment they experience in front of thousands of people on a stage. If we had been on stools facing the audience, that would have been really strange.”
Cooper remarked to PEOPLE at the time of A Star Is Born’s Los Angeles premiere, “I made a friend for life.”
Even though this movie was fantastic, I believe that my bond with her—who is an amazing person—is what I will remember forever. In 2018, the director remarked, “I’m very fortunate to have worked with her.”
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the singer made the same comments about her director and costar. Regarding her part in the movie, Gaga remarked, “It just has changed me.” “I feel so fortunate to have had that experience. It was amazing to watch Bradley work, and to have his belief in me gave me more strength to believe in myself.”
Maestro, Cooper’s most recent film, is a directorial effort that comes after his work directing A Star Is Born. The relationship between Felicia Montealegre Cohn Bernstein (Carey Mulligan) and her husband, real-life composer Leonard Bernstein (Cooper), is the main focus of the film.
Maestro debuted in a few cinemas in November and will be accessible for Netflix streaming on December 20.
