After the 119-107 defeat to defending champion Denver Nuggets, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers take on Phoenix Suns at home. 
The Phoenix Suns are still led by Devin Booker, who demonstrated on the NBA’s opening night that he is prepared to take the lead once more despite the team’s new image.
Booker, an All-Star guard, scored 32 points on Tuesday, including the game-winning basket with five minutes remaining, as the Suns defeated the Golden State Warriors 108-104. On Thursday, the team will travel to Los Angeles to play the Lakers.

In addition to scoring 18, Kevin Durant pulled down 11 rebounds. Last season, Jusef Nurkic scored 14 points and pulled down 14 rebounds for the Suns, who placed fourth in the Western Conference.
Booker stated, “I’m just trying to build trust with the team.” We know we have the talent and depth throughout the team, and we’re just going to use it in this first game. Frank Vogel, the new head coach of the Suns, who will now take against his old team, said, “Going against (the Warriors), in this building, that is exceptional on the defensive end, especially for Game 1 with these guys and learning a new system.”
