Olivia Rodrigo 21 Embraces Adulthood with a Splash on Guts World Tour Opening Night by buying cigarettes and Beer

On the first night of her Guts World Tour in Palm Springs, California, the former Disney Channel star spoke out about how she celebrated turning 21. Sitting at the piano, the “Vampire” hitmaker remarked, “I went to the gas station the other day and bought a pack of cigarettes and a six-pack of beer,” as shown in fan videos uploaded to TikTok. She said,                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              “I swear I didn’t eat it, but I just bought it because I f–king could.” She said, “Well, all this to say that I think growing up isn’t so scary after all and life just kind of gets better at the end,” before hitting the stage to perform “Teenage Dream,” a song from her 2023 album.  This week, the former cast member of “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” celebrated her milestone birthday. She celebrated with a low-key party and quipped that she would no longer be breaking the law by “hypothetically” drinking alcohol.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     “This is the last day I will be able to drink underage (hypothetically)!!!!” she joked in the Instagram post’s description on Monday. Actress Iris Apatow, musician Tate McRae, and fellow musician Conan Gray joined the “Vampire” songstress. One of the photos from the celebration featured the “Greedy” singer’s purported new partner, The Kid Laroi; however, Rodrigo’s potential new partner, Louis Partridge, didn’t seem to be present.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            The 1991 spring collection of the company included a black suit with a plunging neckline and several cutouts. A chaotic updo, a swipe of red lipstick, and silver accessories—diamond hoops for earrings and multiple matching rings—rounded off her glitzy ensemble. A number of purple funfetti cakes with several candles on top that said “Happy Birthday Olivia” were also featured at the at-home celebration.
