TikTok personality Campbell Puckett, also known online as “Pookie,” was compelled to issue an apology on Thursday after pictures of her from an Ole Miss Greek event appeared online. Campbell was dressed in an antebellum costume.
With 284,000 TikTok followers, Puckett responded to pictures that were shared on Reddit featuring the flight attendant-turned-influencer dressed in a flowing white dress and pearls with an unnamed man in a tuxedo and bowtie. 
In an Instagram story, Puckett said, “I fully apologize for the harm this may have caused for some and take full responsibility.” The pictures seemed to have been taken during a college party, with other students wearing similarly.
She clarified that “I didn’t fully understand” when the pictures were shot, adding that she was 20 years old.
