The actress Kate Beckinsale had a special visit from her cat Willow on Tuesday after sharing photos.

The 50-year-old actress sent an update late on Tuesday from her hospital bed, featuring her cuddling with her cat Willow.In the picture, Beckinsale was lying down with the fluffy cat curled up in her arms. She was dressed in a pink sweater. She only titled the photo that she posted to her Instagram Story, “Visitor.”

The update was sent in response to concerns raised by Beckinsale’s Instagram posts of two images taken while she was spending Mother’s Day and her mother Judy’s birthday in the UK.The celebrity, who mentioned being “sick” in a post published on Monday, appeared tearful-eyed in the pictures but gave no explanation for why she was in the hospital.When PEOPLE asked Beckinsale for comment, her representative didn’t get back to them right away .

She wrote in the caption of the photo earlier this week, “Happy birthday and U.K. Mother’s Day this last week to my incredible mother.” “We are grateful to people who love and support us during difficult times and work to ensure that there are moments when things aren’t too bad. Additionally, for taking care of our dogs while we are unable to and helping us to recall joyful memories in the interim. and show up to sit with us while we’re unwell. and check in, send balloons, and extract us from wells with

In the midst of the photo montage, Beckinsale shared pictures and videos of her mother eating cake and champagne while donning a jumper that said 1970. In 2019, Beckinsale disclosed her most recent health scare—a ruptured ovarian cyst.
