The 50-year-old actress sent an update late on Tuesday from her hospital bed, featuring her cuddling with her cat Willow.In the picture, Beckinsale was lying down with the fluffy cat curled up in her arms. She was dressed in a pink sweater. She only titled the photo that she posted to her Instagram Story, “Visitor.”
The update was sent in response to concerns raised by Beckinsale’s Instagram posts of two images taken while she was spending Mother’s Day and her mother Judy’s birthday in the UK.The celebrity, who mentioned being “sick” in a post published on Monday, appeared tearful-eyed in the pictures but gave no explanation for why she was in the hospital.When PEOPLE asked Beckinsale for comment, her representative didn’t get back to them right away .
