Taylor Swift sparked an internet debate when she went into detail about her shower routine
Celebrities have begun opening up about their hygiene practices and exposing some of the less refined aspects of their lives.Perhaps Hollywood isn’t as glamorous as it looks.
A talk-show guest was taken aback by Kelly Clarkson’s admission that she multitasks while taking a shower, and Taylor Swift ignited a heated argument on X, the former Twitter, by drawing a comparison between shaving cream and soap.
Taylor Swift
When Taylor Swift revealed her shower regimen in detail during an interview on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in May 2019, it ignited a heated controversy on social media.
Swift responded to Ellen’s question on whether she washes her legs in the shower by saying, “I do because when you shave your legs, the shaving cream is like soap, right?”
Swift, who was feeling more at ease, remarked, “Good,” when DeGeneres concurred that was a good method to wash her legs in the shower. That puts me on the correct side of history.
Fans of the artist, however, began arguing online about whether shaving cream or soap is a better cleaner.
Kelly Clarkson
The subject of their personal hygiene routines came up during a recent episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” in which host Kelly Clarkson was interviewing Keenan Thompson. Clarkson acknowledged that she occasionally used the shower to wash her teeth.
She stated, “I just do [it] if I’m in a hurry,” and that she “happen[s] to be in a hurry often.”
The news that Clarkson doesn’t wash her legs also astounded Thompson. Clarkson’s explanation that “when you’re washing up here, it does wash down” astounded him. The singer reassured him, though, by stating that she “shave[s] [her] legs almost every day in the shower, so [she’s] kind of doing it anyway.”
Thompson was unable to back up Clarkson’s admission that she uses the shower to urinate. As he acknowledges
According to Clarkson, she “pee[s] almost every time in the shower,” making light of the fact that it makes her feel “productive.”
“No, but it’s unavoidable. It all started with that sleepover in childhood. Sometimes you urinate when they put your hand in the hot water. She clarified, “The hot water hits your body and, like, if I have to go, but not every time.” “I’m rushing all the time. I want to flip over and spend as much time as possible in bed.
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher
During an appearance on the “Armchair Expert” podcast, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis said they just wash their intimate parts and don’t take frequent baths, which caused quite a stir. When they added that they also don’t think parents should give their kids frequent baths, they went one step further.
Dax Shepard, the podcast host, and Monica Padman talked about Padman’s bathing practices. Shepard clarified that soap eliminates the body’s natural oils. After acknowledging his point of view, Kunis stood up for herself in front of an astounded Padman, saying, “I didn’t shower very much anyway because I didn’t have hot water growing up.”
