On Sunday, the 48-year-old drummer for Blink-182 shared a heartfelt ode to Alabama, who turned 18 years old. “Happy birthday, lovely daughter of mine. Alongside a collection of old images of Alabama, he posted on Instagram, “I can’t believe my baby is 18 and all grown up.”
He went on, “The greatest joy in the world is being your dad.” “May you be surrounded by love and all your favorite things today and forever!”Barker continued, saying, “I adore you and I’m very proud of you.”
Barker has a strong relationship with Alabama, the child he shares with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler. The teenager shared a heartfelt statement from her father on a Post-it note back in September.According to an E! News screengrab of Alabama’s Instagram Story post at the moment, the note said, “You are m everything ”
“Your [sic] truly the best dad,” the adolescent texted her father in response to the picture.In addition, Barker and Moakler are parents to 20-year-old son Landon and 24-year-old stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya. On November 1, Barker and wife Kourtney Kardashian welcomed a son named Rocky Thirteen.
Alabama recently discussed her health after receiving body-shaming remarks in response to certain paparazzi images. She disclosed that she has an autoimmune disease and a thyroid condition that caused her to gain weight in an open TikTok video posted in August.
In the video, she clapped back at the criticism, saying, “Paparazzi will purposely take pictures of you with your mouth open, middle of a sentence and any ugly picture they can get of you just for views.”
“It would be amazing to see you guys randomly captured on camera as you’re walking out of the grocery shop, gaping open in mid-sentence… and let’s take in your stunning appearance,” she said.

Alabama stated, “So, it would be very appreciated if you guys just keep your opinions to yourself,” after outlining the medical issues that led to her weight gain.
She said that she hoped no young girls who saw her video would ever “think there’s something wrong” with “gaining weight” or going through periods of fluctuating weight.
“There comes a time when you should make a change if it’s affecting your health, but no… That’s not the situation for me, and if you could see yourself in my position, that would be really appreciated,” she continued.
