The beginning of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s romance has been made public!
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end claims that when she came to his game on September 24, 2023, against the Chicago Bears, the two had already been getting to know one another for a few weeks.
Kelce, 34, said, “We had known each other for close to a month up to that point,” during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on Wednesday. 
Kelce revealed on The Pat McAfee Show three days before to Swift’s attendance at the Chiefs-Bears game that he “threw the ball in her court” and had extended an invitation for her to watch him play. He disclosed on Wednesday that when he made that statement on the broadcast, he already knew she would go see him perform.
“It wasn’t just an out-of-the-blue, ‘Hey, come to the game,'” said Kelce. The 34-year-old Swift has seen 12 of Kelce’s games since his debut.
“I adore Taylor coming over to cheer me on and enjoy the game with the family and friends. “Man, this year has been nothing but amazing,” he said to McAfee.
He admitted that the attention he’s received from their relationship is “brand new,” but he’s enjoying it. 
“You know, it’s been a crazy, crazy ride that I could have never anticipated,” he said. “But it’s enjoyable for me. Aside from the irate NFL supporters who simply cannot stand to see the Chiefs win, the majority of people are enjoying it.”
After the athlete tried to offer her his number while attending the singer’s Eras Tour at Arrowhead Stadium, rumors of a romance between the two began to circulate.
During their July podcast, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, he recounted to his brother Jason, “If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets, and I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it.”

She was so busy getting ready for the concert that Kelce claimed he was “a little butthurt” that he had missed the opportunity to give her the personalized bracelet.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” he stated to his older brother.
In an interview for the December/January issue of WSJ Magazine, he said that he admires and values her work ethic. He won’t be at the Grammys on Sunday because of his own work ethic. He informed McAfee.
“I wish I could go support Taylor at the Grammys and watch her win every single award that she’s nominated for but I think I got practice on Sunday,” stated Kelce.
